Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Regenerative farming is a holistic approach to agriculture that focuses on rebuilding the health of the soil. Instead of just sustaining the land, we actively work to improve it by using practices like no-till farming, cover cropping, and planned animal grazing. Our goal is to work in harmony with nature to create a more resilient and productive farm.

Regenerative farming has positive impacts on the environment and our food. It helps to:

  • Improve Soil Health: It creates nutrient-dense soil that is rich in organic matter.
  • Fight Climate Change: Healthy soil sequesters carbon from the atmosphere, helping to combat global warming.
  • Increase Biodiversity: It creates a healthier ecosystem for beneficial insects, pollinators, and wildlife.
  • Conserve Water: Healthy soil acts like a sponge, retaining more water and making our farm more resilient to drought.

Yes. Research suggests that produce grown in healthy, biologically active soil can have a higher concentration of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants compared to food from conventional farms. By focusing on soil health, we help our plants thrive and pass that nutrition on to you.

Organic farming has a strict set of standards for what you can't use (like synthetic pesticides and fertilizers). Regenerative farming is more focused on what you do use—specific practices that actively improve the health of the soil and ecosystem. While many regenerative farms are also organic, the two terms are not always interchangeable.

We avoid the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. Our focus is on building a naturally resilient ecosystem where plants and animals thrive together, minimizing the need for chemical intervention.

Our animals are an essential part of our regenerative system. We practice rotational grazing, moving them across our pastures in a planned way. This mimics natural patterns, which helps to fertilize the soil with their manure, spread seeds, and improve the health of the land. Our animals are not just products; they are partners in our farming process.

We grow a variety of crops including corn, tomatoes, peppers, and strawberries.

Yes, we have a selection of organic and non-GMO produce available for purchase.

Unfortunately, at this time this is not a service we offer.
